Team Leadership and Supervision

• Lead, and supervise a team of calibration technicians and support staff to ensure efficient and accurate operations.
• Plan and delegate tasks effectively to achieve department goals and maintain high-quality standards

Calibration and Quality Control

• Oversee the calibration of equipment and instruments to ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and company policies.

Scheduling and Workflow Management

• Create and manage calibration schedules to minimize downtime and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Prioritize and allocate resources to meet deadlines and urgent calibration requirements.

Compliance and Documentation

• Ensure all calibration activities meet regulatory and safety standards, including ISO/AS standards, as applicable.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of calibration activities, certifications, and equipment history.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Work closely with vendors to obtain quotes for calibration needs, repairs, and parts procurement.
• Manage and place orders for customer requirements to ensure test stations remain operational and meet deadlines.

• Work on Specifications, instructions sheets, processes and analyze technical data
• Operate and check malfunctioning machinery, Test equipment, electronic equipment and make routine in process adjustments
• Perform routine inspections, necessary operations as required for processes, and other related mechanical/electrical processes
• Experience with use of calibration equipment, quality requirements, electrical equipment & technical
• Administer for Kardex Remstar machine.

• Fostered a positive and safe learning environment for School-Age children of the Lawrence YMCA, demonstrated positive behaviors and modeled teamwork.

• Knowledgeable about proper maintenance techniques for various types of floors including waxing, polishing and buffering procedures.
• Exhibited skill in laying out, installing, and repairing hardwood, vinyl, laminate, and tile floors.
• Capable of cutting door jambs to accommodate new flooring installations.
