Tutored two Portuguese-native speakers in English and helped answer their questions on an as-needed basis about American culture and customs.

Throughout the summer I aided members of the Ugandan Parliament as well as two non-governmental organizations with research meant to provide more resources and create more legislation for families of special needs individuals and to provide more educational access for both them and their families overall

Volunteered, and later CIT-ed at a day and residential camp for children and adults with disabilities. Logged in over 280 hours, assisting in the coordination of activities, assisting campers with personal needs (bathroom, hygiene, etc.) and creating opportunities for further physical and intellectual development.

Also won Most Improved Volunteer in 2023.
