Responsibilities Supervising other Pharmacists and overseeing Floor Technicians
Ensure PV2 is meeting its commitments for pharmacy run times and exceeding expectations of our customers/ colleagues performing PV1
Abide by all federal and state laws pertaining to the practice of pharmacy
Follow the pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective medication use, including participation in the pharmacy’s continuous quality improvement program
Compound sterile and non-sterile products
Check and review Floor Technician work (PV2)
Check, verify and replace contents of E-Kits
Report medication errors as they occur
Knowledge of medication, interactions, and dosage
Pull control medication to match that of label
Maintain count accuracy and organization of the control room
Assist pharmacy technicians as needed
On-Call when scheduled
Complete QA sheets
Experience in a pharmacy fulfillment center or mail order site.
Time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.

Responsibilities Knowledge and experience using Intercom Plus.
Motivate team members to research and resolve issues.
Reviews, interprets, and accurately dispenses prescribed medications, as required.
Ensures the use of all elements of the Good Faith Dispensing policy in conjunction with state and federal controlled substance laws when filling prescriptions. The Product Review/Retail Fill Process Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring that elements of Good Faith are present.
Collaborates with Store Manager to define and develop new strategic business opportunities.
Maintains information technology knowledge of pharmacy systems including workflow, prescription fulfillment, billing, clinical documentation, training, inventory management, and point of sale registers. Supports pharmacy staff and patients with information technology. Finds opportunities to improve productivity
Follows-up with medical providers to clarify prescribed medications, dosages, refills, interactions, and allergies to suggest alternative medications, and answer medical provider questions. diagnostic testing, disease state management and other healthcare services.
Performs clinical and wellness services such as immunizations, diagnostic testing, disease state management, and other healthcare services
Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage of medicine, side effects, interactions, contraindications, patient information privacy, generics, less expensive medicines, and over-the-counter products. Refers to the medical provider, as needed, to ensure medication is taken correctly, health needs are addressed, and patient is satisfied with service.

Assist and direct support staff in the production and dispensing of medication orders to facilities and residents
Practice appropriate drug utilization review and follow up • Assist and direct the support staff in the production
Ensure that teammates and facilities operate according to Federal and State Regulations for pharmacy, including regulations unique to LTC pharmacy
Coding and checking orders

Answer calls and heavy customer service to facilities
