I was Co-Manager of the Thrift shop and volunteered there every Wednesday and Non Food distribution Saturday.
As A volunteer on Sunday I would hand out Buliten, prepare the sound system, light candles and do other general preparation before Sunday services. After Sunday service ended, I would help set up for coffee hour and clean up after coffee hour.
I served on the Food Pantry board. Helping budget, creating menus, and helping write grant applications.
I served as a Deacon at the Church. Taking all the responsibility of a Deacon and Served as Co-Chair of the Deaconate from January 2015 to June 2021
As a food Pantry volunteer, I would do the twice monthly food runs to the greater Boston food bank both loading and unloading the u-haul. I would head up a crew of volunteers dating, and rotating the food from the food bank. After the delivery was stocked we would break down the boxes for recycling and throw the trash away. I would also help out at the community supper we would also get deliveries from lovin' spoonful and go through the same process as with the food bank. Every second and fourth Friday I would lead a crew of volunteers in making food baskets ahead of the next days food distribution. I would also volunteer at the Saturday food distributions.
