Ashlana Prashad

Work with the Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) program. Support the promotion, implementation, evaluation of WiSE programs. Input evaluation data and maintain databases. Perform general office duties, and other duties supporting the program coordinator and WiSE director.

Assisted physical therapists forty hours each week by setting up then starting or ending patient treatment with exercises outlined by the assigned Physical Therapist. Monitored patients’ vital signs and pain, assuring patient safety, and providing administrative support.

Assisted two students in the sixth grade, three times per week with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research and other academic tasks. Reviewed classroom or curricula topics and assignments. Worked with students to help them understand key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom.
