
Dedicated and compassionate Speech, Language, and Hearing Science student with extensive experience working with children in an elementary school behavioral program, coaching, and nanny roles. Developed valuable clinical insight through shadowing a speech-language pathologist and serving as Secretary of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA). I conducted an independent study on stroke rehabilitation and presented the findings at an academic forum. Supported students within their classrooms, implemented token boards and other behavioral support systems, and recorded daily data on students' progress and behavior.
Volunteered to lead a team of 3rd–5th grade girls through a season of confidence-building lessons and communication-focused activities, focusing on teamwork, self-expression, and goal setting that culminated in completing a 5K.
