With the Occasions Group we were the only customer service center for the company Darden. Darden is a gift card company for many high-end restaurants such as Ruth's Chris and The Capital Grille. I usually received around 50-70 calls and emails daily. I answered customer questions, resolved concerns, and placed orders.
Over 2 years I served an unpaid mission that allowed me to hold positions of leadership and training. Each day I followed a strict schedule to use my time wisely and do the most good I could alongside a full-time companion. We taught lessons, participated in service projects, worked with individuals and families from many cultures, and gave many trainings to our fellow missionaries on how to improve our efforts.
Each day I was given the responsibility to watch over, teach, and lead the children I was assigned to. In many instances I was left to teach on my own and I had to adapt quickly to that responsibility especially with large groups up to 25 children. I also worked with students in the para-education department that had special needs.
