Employment

Employment at Margot Connell Recreation Center at Boston College which  houses informal recreation and intercollegiate athletes that serves a university of over 14,400 students. 

October 2017 - March 2020 I was involved with social distancing and sanitation efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.  I also served as a first responder in the event of injuries at the gym as I was CPR and First Aid.  

August 2022 to current employment, I assist with the daily management of the 244,000 sq ft Center that houses informal recreation and intercollegiate athletes.  I supervise staff consisting of non-student instructors and student staff ensuring that they fulfill their job responsibilities.  I work to provide a safe and secure recreation environment by identifying, documenting and correcting problems that include , maintenance, cleanliness, risk management and staffing issues/concerns, security of the facility and policy enforcement.
