Summary

After graduating college, my goal was to earn as much money as possible. As a result, I found that working in the Restaurant Industry enabled me to achieve that objective. I soon discovered that the most enjoyable part of my job was creating great relationships with my guests by listening to them, providing positive feedback and advice when needed. I spent many years working in the restaurant industry and in these years I came to realize that although the financial aspect of the job is great, it isn't allowing for me to have the family time that I want and need. I work hours [evenings, weekends, and holidays] when my family is home, needing me the most. It became clear that I needed to prioritize my life differently and put my knowledge, education, and love of my family first above money.
