Served under a Senior Director in the Fixed Income Market Division. Assisted with policy-focused research and data analysis related to financial markets and regulation, based on 300+ data sets. Gained exposure to how economic and financial policies shape market behavior and social outcomes. This experience deepened my interest in the intersection of sociology, economics, finance, and data analysis, directly influencing my academic coursework and research interests.

Conducted field-based survey work and supported graduate researchers through data organization, validation, and research analysis. Identified inconsistencies in datasets to improve data reliability and compiled homelessness funding applications submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development from dispersed municipal sources. Performed desk research and analyzed respondent-driven sampling (RDS) methodologies, with a focus on how peer referral structures may underrepresent isolated and highly vulnerable populations.

Offer free online SAT tutoring, currently meeting twice weekly with two students in Nigeria. Focused on math, reading, and test strategies. Students' scores have increased by 200+ points. Built sustained mentorship relationships while expanding educational access for students from marginalized backgrounds, supporting their pursuit of U.S. higher education despite structural and resource barriers. Completed mentored research under John H. Parker, analyzing the U.S. opioid crisis through medical, social, and economic frameworks. Examined overprescription, dependency, healthcare costs, and regulatory gaps, culminating in a 27-page academic article published with WYCM. Designed a conceptual intervention (5-HT3 Detox Brace) and submitted a patent application to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), receiving official acknowledgement of filing.
