Passionate, open-minded, and creative are all words used to describe me. I am a skilled and energetic person ready to work with children of all ages and backgrounds. When I became captain of my high school volleyball team, I found that I flourished in that role. I loved coaching the younger girls at captain practices and helping them slowly advance, but I also enjoyed pushing myself and my team to be better on and off the court. This position led me to become a babysitter and nanny since so many parents knew me from coaching and loved my teaching style. I adore helping kids grow, and watching them learn is incredible. I made so many unforgettable relationships with parents and children, and I am happy I was there to be a helping hand, even if I was putting groceries away. Throughout that role, I learned I have a strong desire to help children and aid them in understanding the confusing world, which led me to major in Child Psychology.
Children have such a powerful yet unbiased view of the world and I believe that as adults, we can learn a thing or two from them.
