• Work as infusion nurse in fast paced, high acuity hematology oncology infusion clinic
• Administers chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products and supportive care treatments following established protocols for patient safety.
• Caring for patients and their families from new diagnosis, multiple treatment protocols, allogeneic and autologous stem cell transplant process and providing post transplant care, pre and post CAR-T supportive care and end of life care as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for oncology patients.
• Educate patients and families on treatment processes, side effects, and self-care strategies

Inpatient Hematology Oncology/ Bone Marrow Transplant unit

• Providing direct care to oncology patients age 18 and older, specifically caring for patients with blood cancers and solid tumor overflow patients. Providing care from diagnosis, through chemotherapy/ immunotherapy treatments, stem cell transplant course and related oncological emergencies and complications. Cared for patients on research protocols administering drugs and closely monitoring for adverse/ side effects.
• Providing end of life care and support to patients and families
• Act as resource nurse on night shift serving as resource to staff, working with staffing and admitting and caring for my own patient assignment
• Assisted providers with bedside procedures such as bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures and central line placements.
• Responsible for monthly quality and safety audits for the unit
• Collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
• Continued to work per diem hours while working in outpatient infusion clinic from 12/2020- 1/2025

Hired as clinical research nurse at DFCI newly established satellite site in Methuen, MA beginning in March 2020. Completed CITI training and some cross site clinical research nurse orientation. However, due to pandemic, assisted as needed as COVID-19 screener and triage nurse for satellite site.
