Successfully led the day-to-day implementation of the $7 million dollar Investing In Innovation program (I3) financed by the Bill and Melinda Gates to empower African health tech startups:

• Prepared registration packages and monitored applications with frequent analyses presented to the foundation with recommendations to enhance the quality and the number of the selected startups
• Built 4 pan-African Regional Selection Committees composed of former African government members, health/supply chain experts, major medical product manufacturers and startup accelerators

Competently supported the deployment of the decentralization strategy of the healthcare system of a country:

• Proposed the organizational structure of the new system to the regional administration in high-level workshops

• Drafted the key processes of the new health care system notably the logistics and purchasing processes on PowerPoint presentation decks

Assisted the selection of the leadership of the newly adopted decentralized health system:

• Proposed the profiles of the ideal medical and administrative directors according to the objectives of the new system

• Contributed to the adoption of the selection process

• Worked on the selection criteria during the selection process

• Benchmarked potential candidates that could be selected to lead the newly adopted decentralized health institutions

The objective of the project was to build a 10-meter cube solar water tower in Yakin to help farmers farm all year-long, and increase and stabilize their yearly revenues. The budget of the project was about 13 000 euros. The project will enable est. 500 - 700 direct beneficiaries and est. 2000 indirect beneficiaries to keep their children in school, will discourage the recruitment of young people into terrorist groups, and will help reduce risky migration, especially in the dry season, for economic reasons

Implementation

• Coordinated implementation activities with village officials, construction company staff, association members, and donors at each step of the journey

• Lead the project throughout its lifecycle from initiation to planning, implementation, monitoring and control, and closing. The pilot project is completed at more than 90%
• Planned a scale up project to build 4 additional solar water towers for farmers in the Bazèga province in Burkina Faso to contribute to boosting agriculture in this province. The number of beneficiaries is estimated at 18 000 people with a project budget of 75 000 euros.

Supported the project department in the implementation of joint projects the company had with UNCDF, AECF, and NITIDAE:

• Drafted grant applications, contributed to negotiations with external partners, and drafted reports to partner institutions

• Proposed an impact assessment system of QOTTO BF solar kits on its customers including the proposition of 30+ socio-economic indicators

• Collected and analyzed qualitative and quantitative data with google forms and excel

Participated in the search for funds and in the implementation of the fundraising strategy: updated and developed a monitoring database of financial partners and prospects

• Monitored the financing opportunities that can be mobilized, and studied the conditions allowing Fondem to access these funds

• Participated in the preparation and set up of new projects, including data research and the drafting of grant applications

• Carried out research and capitalization analyses aimed at consolidating lessons learned from field experiences

• Prepared partnership agreement drafts

Gathered and vetted various qualitative and quantitative data from government websites, encyclopedias, research papers, and international organization articles in order to inform research directors and teachers' academic publications.

• Researched and published 54 well-referenced data reports for newly constructed internal university databases, documenting the economic and socio political ties between African nations and China.

Planned the "Kata Kata" project: it concerns the establishment of the business plan and organizational chart of the project over 5 years in 3 countries. The project aims to create an electronic platform to connect all agricultural actors in Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Liberia, namely farmers, sellers of fertilizers, machine owners/lenders, etc. to improve the mechanization of agriculture in these countries
