At the conclusion of my Nursing career myself and husband (William Spates) established Bass Associates Inc.. Together we grew Bass from a sales and erection subcontractor into a an Architectural Facade manufacturer and installer of a wide range of architectural facade products and applications.
In 2005 Bass entered a partners ship with the New England Carpenters Union. Through our partnership with the Carpenters Union, Bass Associates Inc. has grown steadily from a small facility in Lynn, MA to our current facility in Ipswich, MA. increasing out manufacturing capabilities to better serve our customers and continue to scale our business.
Since 2018 Bass Associates Inc has partnered The Commonwealth of MA and Supplier Diversity Office to become a Certified WBE.
Bass Associates Inc currently employs seven office personnel, four permanent manufacturing employees, Fifteen long term union carpenters as well as employing as many as fifty plus union carpenter in the field concurrently.
