  • GRADERCO is the trading branch of ZALAR Group (shareholders: Mitsui, Seaboard, private funds) - first Importer of grains and oilseeds in Morocco (3 millions tons)
  • Collect of customer needs and implementation of vessel purchasing strategies based on our fundamental and logistical views
  • Negotiation and purchase of vessels (Soft wheat, Durum Wheat, Wheat Bran pellets, Barley, Corn)
  • Implementation of contracts and operational follow-up with legal and logistics teams
  • Hedging of wheat, barley, corn positions on the Chicago board of trade (CBOT) and Euronext (MATIF) markets – Futures and options strategies

Rerouting of cargo ships according to market opportunities and management of physical gas emissions on Hubs (Example: rerouting of LNG cargo from Belgium to Japan following an increase in demand and price on the Asian market)

  • Directional trading on liquid markets: outright positions and time or location spreads (example: position on the UK-Austria differential or on the summer-winter 2018 differential)
  • Active participation in improvements to internal models for forecasting demand and physical gas production in Europe
