I recently graduated with a Master's Degree in Nursing and am nationally certified as an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. I gained valuable training for this role through academic projects and in-person practicums completed during my three-year program. This education and training are complemented by 18 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. My foundational knowledge includes medical-surgical nursing, home health nursing, leadership and nursing education.
For the past 13 years, I have served as the director of wound care, where I have gained extensive knowledge, training, and practical experience in the field and advanced modalities of wound care and hyperbaric medicine. I possess strong skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and time management. I am now ready to take on a new role at Fairview Hospital and am eager to contribute to the wound care program with dedication and enthusiasm.
