Accomplishments

During my undergraduate studies, I focused on neuroscience and built strong research, systems, and coordination skills through work in Richard Hunter’s epigenetics lab and the Baby Lab, a sister lab to Harvard’s. My work included participant recruitment, lab coordination, and supporting research on epigenetic, stress, and child cognitive development. I also used MATLAB to help create coded research stimuli for infant attention studies. These roles strengthened my ability to work within structured protocols, manage complex details, and move between technical tasks and direct human interaction with ease.

Graduate Program

I am currently completing my Master Degree in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Massachusetts Boston and maintain a 4.0 GPA. I have completed all coursework except for my final Fall 2026 requirements: Advanced Curriculum, which begins as my internship this September, its related supervision course, and Family and Counseling. My graduate training has strengthened my skills in clinical thinking, ethics, case conceptualization, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based counseling practice. So far sex therapy, trauma, narrative work and EMDR, have stood out to me to later look for additional licensing.
