I am a rising junior pursuing a double major in English and Film and Media Studies. I'm familiar with prepping resources, equipment, and materials for film and media studies research, with a leaning toward documentary theory and Hong Kong narrative films. I am detail-oriented, having peer-reviewed my documentary professor's research paper as her Research Assistant, I am familiar with publication-level proofreading and editing. I work not only with theory but also enjoy hands-on professional work. Having worked for 2+ years as a classical concert usher, I'm successful in customer service and box office ticketing, and I was promoted to manage office administrative work in my second year. I believe in the interdisciplinary approach to art, so I do not stop myself at filmmaking. I secured a theatre assistant position at my university, and have worked as a backstage assistant to numerous performances. I am currently in the process of learning the operation of stage lighting and sound design.
