Fort Point Channel Utility Tunnel

Served as Laser Scanning lead to scan and register and geo-reference 130 scans in a 600’ +/- utility tunnel 75’ under the Fort Point channel in Boston MA. Created an existing condition 3D CAD drawing containing a mesh and model at street level, down the manhole shaft’s and inside the tunnel. Created a cross section view at 25’ spacing along the tunnel that depicted where utilities were visible from the concrete encasement.

Served as Laser Scanning Lead to register and extract point cloud data captured with FARO Focus and Trimble SX10 and X7 laser scanners across District 1, 5 and 6. Create Civil 3D drawing containing a surface and extracted features to show ADA compliance for each individual ramp.

Served as Laser Scanning Lead to register and extract point cloud data captured with a Trimble X7 laser scanner. Created a 3D model of the structures including conductors and wire elevations.
