  • I was re-employed by Duqm Refinery after graduating with my master’s degree based on my excellent performance during my previous work period. I was employed to support the business objectives and cover aspects of HR including employee relations, compensation and benefits, budget planning and reward. In addition, developing & implementing an Omanization strategy for the business.
  • Develop, review and implement new Human Resources policies, practices and procedures that support the Human Resources Strategy.
  • Provide HR policy advisory services to employees, and advice on interpretation and application of HR Policies, Regulations and Rules.
  • Develop and maintain the Human Resources 5-year budget including the FEED and EPC budget of the project.
  • Review and maintain the payroll processing systems (SAP system) to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, overtime, travel per diem, loans, bonus, increments and any other deductions.
  • Manage and maintain the on-boarding process of the new joiner, ensure all necessary paperwork, welcome kits, and IT requirements are in place. Prepare and present orientation & Induction programs to all new joiners.
  • Prepare Change Management Plan of any changes and new items introduced in the policy or benefits by preparing announcements, communication plan and presentations to employees.
  • Conduct market analysis and analyze surveys to determine appropriate compensation and benefits structure for all employees.
