Working with school age students in academic settings to improve participation in school-based activities. Provide individual sessions, group sessions, consultations, and three levels of Response to Intervention. Students are evaluated on an individual bases by assessing fine motor, visual motor, self-help, coordination, and overall participation. Collaborating with teachers and special education staff to provide effective and comprehensive treatment.
Under the direction of the occupational therapist treating clients ages 3-22yrs with cognitive, physical, and psychosocial delays and impairments. Working under an OTR providing support to students in sub separate classrooms and in inclusion settings. Understanding IEP goals and parent concerns to provide the best possible treatment for success at school and in the community. Work collaboratively with SLPs/SLPAs to provide proper positioning and low-cost solutions to access augmentative communication devices and leisure devices.
Assists in organization of practice plans and drills. One on one skill work with the players. Assist in game time decisions including substitutions and play choices.
Setup and clean up of the banquet facility. Serving meals to guests and keeping the meeting space clean during use. Supervising new employees and training them when necessary. Keep the work space organized. Make quick decisions regarding the guests’ needs. Entering bank information and depositing the bank at the end of the business day.
Provide support assistance with all aspects of running the intercollegiate field hockey/lacrosse programs. Provide information and evaluation of recruits and current players. Provide support and guidance to the players.
