• Create a safe environment for staff, patients as well as visitors via foot patrol of hospital and vehicle patrol of on/off site Baystate facilities.
• Dispatch officers to various calls from command center. Interact with hospital staff to ensure the safety of patients as well as visitors.
• Respond to calls of unruly patients or visitors. Apply restraints to patients at the direction of medical staff when needed. Escort hospital staff and/or patients throughout the hospital.

• Driver/Messenger/Vault Crew
• Secure delivery and receipt of currency from various banks and retail businesses via armored car.
• Utilized weapons permit and guard cash in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Operate radio communication equipment. Complete vehicle inspection reports.
• Prepare mileage forms. Buy/sell currency/coin to incoming and outgoing route and shuttle drivers.
• Distribution of currency/coin for delivery to specified banks and organize deliveries for outgoing routes and shuttles.
