As president of the Ceramics Club at Union College, I am in charge of managing the studio space and keeping it clean while also scheduling studio hours. It is also necessary for me to teach handbuilding techniques to people who come in, ans well as operating the kiln.
Since 2016, I have been caring and watching many pets including cats, dogs, dish, snakes, reptiles, and more. When doing this, I would take care of the basic needs of the pet while also entertaining and providing enrichment opportunities fitting for the individual pet.
As a camp counselor, I was charged with caring for children between the ages of 11-14 years old. With this job, problem solving skills were necessary as weather or availability of activities would force plans to change. Interpersonal and conflict resolution skills were also helpful as arguments would arise between colleagues and between the children.
During the summer of 2021, I volunteered with Energize Framingham, which is a non-profit based in Framingham massachusetts with the priority of spreading awareness over sustainability initiatives. My work included community outreach as well as assisting with the upkeep of community gardens.
The New York Space Grant Summer Research Fellowship was awarded for the summer of 2024 to fund research pertaining to volcanic deposits along the Cascade Mountain Range.
