With over a decade of experience in customer-facing roles, including a managerial position at The Hooch, I excel in customer relations and inventory management. My journey from sales associate to business owner has honed my problem-solving abilities and relationship-building skills, significantly enhancing customer satisfaction! I am also hard working and very outgoing so I could bring good energy to any work environment! I am also open to learning any new abilities and can do so in a quick amount of time as I am a great learner! I can guarantee you would be bringing a headstrong, trusting and bubbly personality to your team!
I organized and cleaned shelves and put out any new merchandise we got in, as well as organizing all of our books in order.
I answered phone calls and set up appointments for our psychics and tarot readers.
I organized our weekly meetings for our book night, and set up the rooms for group metaphysical sessions they offered at our shop.
I was also a key holder so I opened and closed up shop and worked 5-6 days out of the week open to close so I’m very good with time management and working longer, full-time hours.
I also learned every item in our shop so that I could answer customer questions properly and efficiently and help people find what they were looking for and this helped me build my customer service skills tremendously
I worked as a full-time manager here for 4+ years. I started off as a waitress/cook and worked my way up to my last position.
I was tasked with hiring and training new employees and taking over any terminations we had.
I also was tasked with keeping the restaurant clean and up to the owners standards as well as taking over inventory and working with the distributors we had for the company.
This was in a tourist area so I learned to work in a very fast paced environment as the town had events/parades/ and okterberfest each year, this helped me build a lot of my customer service skills and required me to handle complaints and hard situations throughout being there.
I also was tasked opening and closing every day and taking on any added responsibilities as needed. I was also working 12-14 hours shifts, this helped me with time management and gave me the ability to work excessive full-time hours.
As I continued to work as a bartender for a family restaurant I actually rented out a building that was nearby and started working to open my own metaphysical cafe, through getting my business license I was able to gain allot of knowledge of metaphysical/Spiritual merchandising, and learned allot about the product! I worked with multiple distributors and got the store opened and I ran the shop on my own for a bit but unfortunately the area I opened it in didn’t do super well in sales on slow season, i decided to close up and move things to online until I could find a better spot now in MA. But through owning this business I gained amazing loyalty with customers and was able to learn more about community’s and communication skills as well as the business and retail side of things!
