  • My Role As an accounting intern is not only to grow my knowledge on accounting but ensure all tasks handed my way are organized and done correctly in a timely matter. As a upcoming senior in college, I have worked with Stevens and Ciccone throughout tax season and gained a robust experience from prepping a tax return for the staff to easily continue and finish. I also know how the office is ran and doing duties an admin would do throughout off season. A day at work for me would entail helping staff with prepping tax return and imputing information or inputting checks and balancing accounts and reconciling in Quickbooks. I even have worked with running payroll. I also do general emails with clients and other every day task they need me to do. Through out this internship it has given me great knowledge on business administration and learning private accounting. My main take away is all the organizational skills I have gained from projects and how they are all attention to detail oriented. I believe my skill assets with Microsoft software will help and guarantee organization for any task give my way.
