Niko Conway

I worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor at the YMCA, where I taught swim lessons to children, including children with special needs, using adaptive and inclusive teaching methods while ensuring water safety and enforcing pool rules. In addition, I worked as a seasonal lifeguard for the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) during the summer, where I maintained safety at public pools, enforced regulations, and monitored swimmers to prevent emergencies. Through these roles, I developed strong responsibility, leadership, and communication skills while serving my community.
