Overseeing the running of the local, negotiating contracts, working with business agents and stewards and alternate stewards regarding issues brought to light from our members. Making sure the company follows the contract and treats our members in a respectful way.

Represent Local791 at UFCW international conventions.

• Maintained a clean and organized receiving area, enhancing workflow and productivity.
• Kept work areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Loaded and unloaded boxes and pallets using safe operating procedures and correct equipment.
• Unloaded pallets and deliveries and organized products in warehouse.
• Compared shipping orders and invoices against contents received to verify accuracy.
• Reduced errors in received shipments by conducting thorough inspections and ensuring accurate documentation.

Steward positions are an appointed position Decided by the executive board. We advocate for the interests and rights of our fellow members. We make sure that all members are informed about meetings, workplace and political actions are communicated with the members. We ensure the contract is being followed at all times.
