
There is an opening for a case manager ar Clear Path, I would like to learn this job, there are two ways to do this, an internship or a VA work study, I would prefer a work study because it would be a paid work study paid by the VA, I can show y0o how to set up the paperwork, but a 20 hour a week internship would would work too.

VA WORK STUDY
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Veteran Support Services:
a. Assist veterans, service members, and dependents in navigating their VA education benefits.
b. Provide general information about VA resources.
c. Help veterans with forms, paperwork, and online portals related to their benefits and college
paperwork
2. Office Administration:
a. Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting visitors.
b. Maintain and organize veteran student records and files.
3. Event Coordination and Outreach:
a. Assist in planning and executing veteran-focused events, workshops, and information sessions.
b. Promote awareness of veteran services and programs available at QCC.
c. Represent the Veteran Affairs Office at student fairs and college events on campus.
d. Support student veteran engagement initiatives, including social and professional networking
opportunities.
e. Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all veteran students and their families.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and VA-related online
portals.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior military experience or familiarity with military culture is preferred but not required.
