Philip Engelke

Physical scientist by training with experience in data analysis and operating as a systems engineer, focusing on creative problem-solving and a detailed, conceptual, and visual approach to understanding and framing the problems. Ph.D. work in radio astronomy with experience including planning, proposing, and carrying out observations, high sensitivity observing and data reduction and analysis of spectra, interferometry, and creating computer models for scientific problems. Was involved in building a new research area from the early stages and collaborating with scientists. Work at Frontier Technology, Inc. included work on several contracts, with a focus on space domain awareness, image processing, identifying and solving problems in the collaborative development of a complex project, algorithm modeling, testing, and collaborating with the customer to progress an analysis team effort on the project.
