The labs were reorganized by components. I started and ran the Adhesive lab working with heat seal, laminating and pressure sensitive adhesives.

I lead the team that developed all of the new adhesives and I addressed coating problems in the plant.

• I was a member of a team that developed waterborne inks for printing on plastic labels.

I helped run the enzyme reactions in the lab which eventually led to the low cost method used to make artificial sweeteners.
