As a dental assistant, I provide comprehensive support to dentists, and ensure efficient, high-quality patient care. My responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting during dental procedures, such as fillings, extractions, and cleanings. I take and develop dental X-rays, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure infection control standards are met. I also provide chairside assistance, anticipate the dentist’s needs, and help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment. Additionally, I manage scheduling, patient education, and inventory control to help maintain a smooth, organized dental practice.
