The past six seasons I've been our Goal Keeping Director. Responsible for coaching and training all level goalies to perform at the high school Junior Varsity and Varsity levels. Working closely with other assistant and head coaches, and the defensive units. Providing feedback to goalies and all team during huddles. As a Senior Program Leader (SPL), I fulfilled the responsibilities of a Program Leader, now with the added responsibilities of helping lead team training, coaching new staff, and doing stretch assignments outside of my scope of role. Working together closely with Program Directors, Area Directors, and other SPL's.
Responsible for running programs on campus, leading on-campus experience & team, communicating effectively with Booster team, school, and parent group. Providing a FUN experience while also helping schools reach their financial goals and Booster to projections.
Responsible for preparing, coaching & training our Leader in Training campers (17-18year olds) over the course of 4 weeks on how to be a camp staff member. Taught leadership specific skill that pertain to the sleepover camp world and setting them up to be a Cabin Leader for multiple two week sessions with 10 campers and 2 co-leaders. Teaching them skills like lifeguarding, CPR, mental health emergency, communication skills, how to give and receive feedback, etc. so they can lead a cabin effectively on their own.
Responsible for 100+ campers and 20+ staff members. I was the lead supervisor over the staff in my division, coaching, training, giving feedback and supporting my staff throughout the summer to run a smooth and fun cabin experience for their campers. I worked closely with the other age division's Heads and our Assistant Camp Director to ensure the. Also being the main point of contact for camper's parents if ever having to communicate with those back home.
