SEMSBA festival
Students are given 4-5 months to practice given pieces, scales, and sight reading. They are then expected to enter auditions, where they are tested based off their musicality, sight reading, accuracy, and scales. Once completed, they are either accepted or rejected based off their performance, where they are allowed to be part of the Sr SEMSBA festival and are given new pieces to practice as a band, and expected to perform in front of an audience.
