Provide high quality and individualized care to women with gynecologic malignancies requiring radiation therapy throughout the course of their treatment, recovery, and surveillance.

• Responsibilities include but are not limited to performing history and physical exams including pelvic exams with or without biopsies/Pap smears, formulating care plans, ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic tests, and
  providing education to patients and their families.
• Coordination of care for patients undergoing image-guided brachytherapy under anesthesia with medical oncologists and other outside providers.
• Special interests in providing sexual health and menopause care, including post-radiation dilator teaching and assessment and management of sexual dysfunction.

Provide compassionate, evidence-based yet individualized sexual health care to women with history of malignancies and treatments, both virtually and in-person. Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Perform thorough patient histories and physical examinations, including pelvic exams if appropriate, to identify sexual health issues.
• Prescribe and manage pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments to treat underlying causes and relieve symptoms.
• Make appropriate referrals to other specialties, such as pelvic floor physical therapy, mental health services, to facilitate comprehensive care.

• Independently and collaboratively with the supervising physicians, provided post-treatment surveillance by conducting thorough history and physical, performing pelvic exam, performing biopsies, and ordering laboratory as well as imaging studies as appropriate.
• Provided postoperative care, such as wound care and voiding trial.
• Provided patient education in preparation for gynecologic surgery and postoperative period.
• Facilitated collaboration of care with medical and radiation oncology as well as VNA and hospice.

Provided direct care to Northeastern University students, including preventive services and screenings as well as episodic/urgent care

• Diagnosed and treated acute gynecological conditions and other medical conditions through comprehensive history taking, physical exam, ordering of diagnostic tests and treatments, and making referrals when necessary
• Provided annual gynecological examinations, including Pap smears according to current guidelines, and breast examinations
• Provided patient education and counseling for birth control methods and options and manage prescription renewals
• Provided sexually transmitted infections screening tests and treatments
• Promoted wellness through extensive education and collaborative approach

• Provided skilled nursing care to a variety of patient populations, including but are not limited to post-surgical orthopedic patients and patients recovering from cardiac events, cancers, infections, and exacerbation of congestive heart failure, renal failure, and diabetes.
• Handled all aspects of nursing care from admitting and discharging patients, medication administration, wound care, assisting with activities of daily living, patient and family education, and collaborating with multidisciplinary members for 8-10 patients per shift
• Charge nurse experience, overseeing 4 nurses and 7 nursing assistants on a 48-bed unit

• Provided routine and illness care appropriate for the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and adolescents
